DEGRAF Recycling Process

In DEGRAF all processes are performed under strict quality standards and total respect for the existing legislation, under the direct supervision of the Risk Prevention and Environment Department.

 

  1. Evaluation: for those companies who want to dispose of their e-waste. A no cost visit is made to evaluate customer requirements and technical feasibility for retirement. DEGRAF also advises the clients on the management and handling of e-waste ensuring traceability in compliance with the legislation in force.

  2. Transportation: DEGRAF removes and transports e-waste, all in authorized vehicles, declaring them through the SIDREP: Declaration and Monitoring System of Hazardous Waste.

  3. Receiving and Weighing: once the waste arrives to our plant they are photographed and periodically weighed on a certified 'Roman' scales.

  4. Disarmament and classification: trained personnel dismantle all waste and classify the components to be marked or final disposal.

  5. Marketing and final disposal: among waste that are marketed we have cables, metals, integrated circuits, etc., while hazardous waste such as batteries, CRT, etc. are sent to final disposal facilities.

  6. Final report and certification: the client receives a Recycling Report which details the executed service and a Certificate to warranty a proper waste disposal, ensuring traceability in compliance with the legislation in force.
